Cons

If Apex were a person, it would be a walking red flag. Group management pushes a company culture that values round the clock work, with no via compensation (bonuses are miniscule, some people get tax refunds larger than th bonuses Apex pays). Group sets unrealistic KPIs. When these are not met, they are used to rationalise low annual increases and bonuses. Nepotism is rife at the most senior level of this organisation. High staff turnover, even at senior management level. Group's HR policies remain stuck in the glory days of boomers, and do not cater to the needs of younger generations of employees. Group HR approval is required to fill vacant roles, so roles remain empty for prolonged periods, leaving existing employees to pick up extra work (causing burnout) Complex organisational structure means tasks often fall through the cracks because of lack of clarity on roles and responsibilities. Employees not working in low FTE cost locations are constantly worried about their roles moving to lower cost locations.

Pros

There are good people throughout the organization who genuinely want to do quality work and support one another.

Cons

My experience was that Apex Group prioritized short-term cost savings (involuntary terminations) over investing in its people's on-the-job training, promotion opportunities, compensation & bonus pay, and morale/culture Turnover was significantly higher than I expected, particularly in key functions and at the Functional Head, Regional Head, or C-Suite level Prospective employees should carefully review their offer letter regarding probationary period-related employment notice periods & benefits eligibility (you can only enroll in the 401K once you've worked there for 3 months) During my time there, employee morale was low. Progressions/promotions, as swell as compensation growth and bonus opportunities were minimal due to frequent pressure to 'do more with less,' leading to voluntary resignations, employee burnout, and client attrition due low quality service If you are interviewing, I would encourage you to ask direct questions about probationary notice period, turnover, and leadership changes in the last year Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone works at this firm
