Pros

I genuinely enjoy every moment at the Apex Group. There is not a single day that goes buy without a positive learning experience. The leadership has cultivated an exceptional environment that prioritizes both employee well-being and professional growth, which is a rare and commendable balance. Positive Highlights • Work-Life Balance: This company truly excels in supporting work-life balance. The flexible working arrangements and genuine respect for personal time allow me to manage my professional responsibilities without compromising my life outside of work. • Culture & Values: The culture and values are fantastic—collaborative, transparent, and focused on mutual respect. It's clear that the company's stated values are actively practiced daily, making it a very positive and supportive place to work. • Diversity & Inclusion: The commitment to Diversity & Inclusion is noticeable and genuine. We have a wonderfully varied workforce, and the company actively ensures that all voices are heard and valued, creating an environment where everyone feels they belong. This comes through the Town hall meetings that are held regularly. • Career Opportunities: The pathways for career opportunities and skill development are robust. There are strong encouragement and support for employees seeking internal advancement, training, and challenging new roles. I have experienced first hand advancement in my career path where equal opportunities were presented to me and other staff members at Apex. Leaves a sense of happiness all year round. • Compensation & Benefits: The compensation and benefits packages are highly competitive and generous, reflecting the company's investment in its employees. From health coverage to retirement plans, the offerings are comprehensive and valuable. • Senior Management: Senior management is transparent, approachable, and provides clear strategic direction. Their open-door policy and thoughtful communication make me feel connected to the company's mission and future success. Personally, I have approached the Regional Head of Apex in South Africa, Alan Keet, and WOW, the amount of respect he has for all staff and guidance he provides, and dedicated time he sacrifices to make sure that things get done in an equitable manner is nothing short of excellence and brilliance. Leaves you yet again wanting to be part of the Apex Group. Overall, I highly recommend the Apex Group as a fantastic place to build a career.

Pros

There are good people throughout the organization who genuinely want to do quality work and support one another.

Cons

My experience was that Apex Group prioritized short-term cost savings (involuntary terminations) over investing in its people's on-the-job training, promotion opportunities, compensation & bonus pay, and morale/culture Turnover was significantly higher than I expected, particularly in key functions and at the Functional Head, Regional Head, or C-Suite level Prospective employees should carefully review their offer letter regarding probationary period-related employment notice periods & benefits eligibility (you can only enroll in the 401K once you've worked there for 3 months) During my time there, employee morale was low. Progressions/promotions, as swell as compensation growth and bonus opportunities were minimal due to frequent pressure to 'do more with less,' leading to voluntary resignations, employee burnout, and client attrition due low quality service If you are interviewing, I would encourage you to ask direct questions about probationary notice period, turnover, and leadership changes in the last year Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone works at this firm
