Pros

Good exposure to fund administration. Good for a fresh grad as you will get good exposure but will need to be a self starter and learn on the job.

Cons

Systems and IT support poor. Training very haphazard.

Thank you very much for taking the time to give your feedback - we're delighted that you are benefitting from the great exposure and access you can experience within the Apex Group as a result of our flat-structured and entrepreneurial culture. We are certainly a merit-based business so self-starters who are great team players really excel within this environment! In terms of IT, having been through a period of rapid growth we have been working hard to evolve our IT and tech space. You will have recently seen the announcement of Marie Measures as our Chief Digital Information Officer and member of ExCo. Marie has an unrivalled experience in transforming and modernising IT departments and has already delivered huge benefits since she started. We have a great IT roadmap for innovation over the coming months so you will see these benefits begin to improve your day to day almost immediately. In terms of training - please could you share your feedback with Elaine Hunt, we're keen to ensure that all managers provide their teams with the tools to excel and if we can improve upon this in certain locations we are keen to hear your views.

Pros

There are good people throughout the organization who genuinely want to do quality work and support one another.

Cons

My experience was that Apex Group prioritized short-term cost savings (involuntary terminations) over investing in its people's on-the-job training, promotion opportunities, compensation & bonus pay, and morale/culture Turnover was significantly higher than I expected, particularly in key functions and at the Functional Head, Regional Head, or C-Suite level Prospective employees should carefully review their offer letter regarding probationary period-related employment notice periods & benefits eligibility (you can only enroll in the 401K once you've worked there for 3 months) During my time there, employee morale was low. Progressions/promotions, as swell as compensation growth and bonus opportunities were minimal due to frequent pressure to 'do more with less,' leading to voluntary resignations, employee burnout, and client attrition due low quality service If you are interviewing, I would encourage you to ask direct questions about probationary notice period, turnover, and leadership changes in the last year Based on my experience, I would not recommend anyone works at this firm
