Pros

Some autonomy in how you can work, so long as you live in the USA.

Cons

First and foremost, if you aren't on a contracted project then you are subjected to their 2 week bench policy which is basically if they can't put you on a project then you are let go....with no severance!! A "bench" is a normal occurrence in the consultancy world but they are basically treating you like a contracted employee, and not a full time one. Second of all, they absolutely do not practice what they preach. They talk big about recognizing employees, diversity, etc. but it's basically they established an environment where departments are competing for bill-ability. They aren't transparent with annual raises. None of the top level executives participate in these rah rah diversity calls. Third, they underpay and overwork the employees based in India. It's incredibly said to see. Lastly, the benefits are meager at best, especially the health care.

Pros

Apexon provides strong exposure to cutting-edge AI and enterprise technology initiatives. There are opportunities to work with talented teams across data, AI/ML, cloud, and digital engineering projects. Leadership encourages innovation and creativity, and employees are often given ownership over impactful client-facing work. Fast-paced environment with room to learn new skills and contribute to high-visibility initiatives.

Cons

Like many consulting organizations, priorities and timelines can shift quickly depending on client needs. Processes and communication between teams can occasionally be improved, especially during fast-moving projects. Workloads may fluctuate during major delivery periods. Bonus opportunities are available, but they are generally more accessible at higher organizational levels, which can feel limiting for some employees earlier in their career progression.
