Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We value all perspectives and are committed to continually improving our workplace and culture. We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the stock options and the flexibility of working from anywhere. We strive to offer benefits that support our employees' professional and personal lives. We are, however, concerned about the points you’ve raised regarding compensation, career progression, leadership, and company culture. Your feedback is crucial, and we take it very seriously. Here are a few steps we’re taking to address these concerns: Compensation and Benefits: We consistently review our compensation packages to ensure they are competitive and reflect the responsibilities of each role. We also use best in class compensation data from Pave and Radford to assist us with this. We are also evaluating our benefits to better meet the needs of our employees. Career Growth: We understand the importance of clear career paths and opportunities for advancement. We are working on developing more structured career development programs and mentorship opportunities to help our employees grow within the company. Leadership and Expectations: Our leadership team is dedicated to setting realistic expectations and providing the support needed to meet them. We will continue to deliver leadership training sessions to enhance management skills and improve communication. We're delighted to add Rich Bessel as our SVP of Design, and Matt Curl, as our COO, which i hope you agree, will make our leadership team even stronger. Company Culture: Building a strong, cohesive culture is a priority for us. While we enjoy discussing innovative product features, we recognize the need for more diverse and inclusive team-building activities. We've leant heavily into conducting regular physical team off-site, the feedback on which has been excellent, but we continue to explore how we can enhance offerings like this and make them even better. We appreciate your advice to invest more in our employees. We are committed to making Apollo.io a place where every team member feels valued and supported. If you have any further suggestions or would like to discuss your concerns in person, please let me know, and also please fill in our up and coming employee survey too where you can also share feedback. Thank you again for your feedback and for being a part of our team. Sincerely, Declan

Pros

The company gives engineers a lot of ownership and trust. You are encouraged to take initiative, make decisions, and drive projects end to end rather than just following instructions. The pace is fast, but in a good way — teams move quickly, experiment often, and are generally open to adopting whatever tools, processes, or technical approaches are best for the company and customers.

Cons

Nothing major comes to mind. Like any fast-moving company, there can be moments of ambiguity, but that is also part of the ownership and high-impact environment.

Pros

Only the fact that it's remote work, and maybe not even that.

Cons

Not even sure where to start with this company. This is probably one of the most erratic companies I have NOT had the pleasure of being a part of. The lack of structure within job roles is alarming. There were several employees that I worked with who literally had no idea what their true job descriptions were, with the responsibilities and priorities within roles shifting almost daily, leaving people stressed and confused. Upper management is absolutely clueless about the day-to-day, nor do they care to be involved. The expectation is to "just do" and "do it fast" without question, even at the expense of your time, mental health ect. I honestly have never experienced such a company absent a clear framework. They use about 100 different "productivity tools," which makes it close to impossible to work cohesively and produce high-quality work. Everyone is basically operating on their own and "hoping" for successful results. The turnover is super high, and people are leaving left and right, which is a huge red flag. I would not at all recommend this company if you are looking for a place that offers any kind of structure, work-life balance, or an organized environment.
