Pros
Great professors and an awesome campus made this university a pleasure to attend. I majored in Anthropology and so most of my experience is relegated to that department, but my minor was in Philosophy and I have nothing but good things to say about them as well.
Cons
It's freaking cold in Boone, NC. This is not the place to go if you don't like snow, ice, and weather. The town itself is a nice place and easy to get around, but there is nowhere near enough housing for all the students near campus. Luckily, you will be able to use the free bus system to get to classes from almost anywhere in town.
