Discrimination is rampant and is evident in the favoritism the Senior Managers display towards certain people. The environment is so toxic that gossip and fear mongering are a severe drain on morale, everyone is afraid they will be "silent fired" or made miserable like some that quite....without notice or a job lined up. Pay is low for industry and no bonus, pay raises depend on if they like or hate you. Having worked with the financials I know Senior Management and their "Favorites" get promotions and hefty raises while the rest of the firm gets pennies.
