Pros
One redeeming aspect of the company was its offering of good salaries and benefits, which were commendable and competitive within the industry. Additionally, the organization did maintain a semblance of good work/life balance, providing sufficient flexibility for personal time and family commitments.
Cons
The tenure at my most recent position was markedly overshadowed by very bad leadership and a company culture that not only tolerated but seemed to perpetuate issues with discrimination. This toxic work environment was further exacerbated by very poor communication channels, making it challenging to express concerns or seek resolutions. The rigid structure of the organization offered not enough flexibility to accommodate different working styles or personal circumstances, which contributed to the overall stress and dissatisfaction among employees. Most concerning was the attitude of the management, particularly my direct supervisor, who was noticeably reluctant to receive feedback. This resistance to open dialogue and constructive criticism not only stifled personal and professional growth but also perpetuated a cycle of negativity and unease within the team.
