Pros

None I can think of

Cons

Working for the AFC department at Apple Bank was one of the most frustrating and demoralizing experiences of my career. From the start, it was clear that the environment was not built to support growth, collaboration, or employee well-being. Despite working in a high-pressure, highly regulated area, our team was constantly overlooked and undervalued. There was little to no recognition for the hours we put in or the accuracy and dedication we brought to the job. Instead of acknowledging our contributions or offering constructive support, leadership often focused solely on pointing out flaws sometimes minor or subjective creating a culture of fear and constant second-guessing. Toxicity thrived under poor management, favoritism, and a lack of transparency. Communication from leadership was often vague or inconsistent, leaving teams confused and unsupported. Morale was consistently low, and any attempt to raise concerns or provide feedback was either ignored or met with defensiveness. There is little regard for mental health or work-life balance, and the lack of appreciation or positive reinforcement made it extremely difficult to stay motivated. If you’re seeking a role where your voice is heard, your work is valued, and your development is supported, this is not the team to work for.
