Pros
Some really nice kitchen staff, there was a really nice new manager when I quit so felt bad leaving him on shift. The store manager was really nice and understanding. The previous summer, I broke my neck and got a TBI from an unrelated accident, and so I struggled with some aspects, such as remembering what goes on what. The store manager was really nice and forgiving.
Cons
I was about a year into recovery when I started (from alcohol). Staff drank on the job and didn't communicate well to new people. It was a very closed-off staff culture. People talked about people behind their backs. There was more than once, I heard people talking about me behind my back, and it wasn't pleasant. So instead of confronting it, I quit. Which was more my fault, but I was also in school, and Applebee's wasn't where I wanted to end up.
