Franchise sucks! - Restaurant GM/AGM Applebee's Employee Review

Our franchise closed our store’s permanently with no warning, just sent a group text to us managers at 6:19 yesterday morning telling us we no longer have a job. Put signs on the doors permanently closed and padlocked them. No one will return our calls about our personal stuff in our offices. Also in our termination letters said if we don’t cash our paychecks on 10/30/24, we had to wait until 11/7/24, paychecks are all locked up in the buildings that we don’t have access to! Completely unprofessional how they handled/handling this situation.
