Horrible Management - Composite Technician II Applied Composites Employee Review

Pros

The company provides work events such as BBQ's and lunches for us.

Cons

Everything else, let's start off with only 3 days of sick time per year which is absolutely unrealistic at best. Next, let's move on to the managers who abuse their power and make it a hostile work environment. From timing bathroom breaks to moving you to new jobs every day, the unorganized chaos the management then creates is thrown onto their workers. Next let's move to low employee morale, yes work lunches are fun but having the same event with no raises or addition to our quality of life is nothing more than a facade to make the company look better. In reality, it's full of toxic managers and leads who do what they want and write up the little guys for something as simple as a SICK day during a PANDEMIC. Hopefully the employees wise up and see their worth, and that they are absolutely not being met half way to what they deserve. Also, let me end this by saying something we all know, $18 an hour, full time with an education and 7 years of experience is NOT a living wage, yet I'm sure management can attest to being comfortable in having their pockets lined well.

Thank you for taking the time to review Applied Composites. It is important for us to hear what is going well and where we can improve. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the employee food events that we frequently have! We have many great accomplishments to celebrate, and we appreciate taking time out during the workday for our teams to enjoy spending time together. The COVID-19 pandemic has created many new challenges that have affected each of us in different ways. For non-COVID related absences, we continue to provide a competitive benefits package that includes 3-days of paid sick leave as well as paid vacation to allow employees time to manage their lives outside of work. We also periodically review our compensation packages across the market and strive to create an environment where employees feel fulfilled in their career and rewarded. We appreciate your feedback. We want to continue to be a great place to work as well as to hire great talent!
