Pros
Younger workforce - The reason being people get experience and leave as the management is unfit to keep them. This leads to the company constantly hiring to fill up gaps created by people who left. They spin it around to new employees by saying they are doing awesome because they are always hiring. Said Hilal - Very motivational and funny leader. Sadly he doesn't have a clue how his family is running the business under him.
Cons
Mid-level management - You have to understand that this is a private company and almost all the top positions are held by Said and his brother Nabil's family members, whether they are qualified or not. It might still not have been bad if they didnt interfere and just got their paychecks. The problem is they dig their nose in how to run something they are not sure of, and that leads to products/processes failing and employees leaving. Slavery - They use you as slaves and if they want something from you they give you a hefty raise, and the moment they start hating you, you are fired. HR - this department is a puppet to family members. They have no voice, so don't expect them to hold your back. Lack of self-development - more than 90% of employees I spoke to are there for money or they aren't that ambitious. Because if you are even a tiny bit ambitious, you won't stay long. You are hired here not to grow your career and learn new things, but to do their dog's work. To fix their issues and mistakes which are created because of their inexperience. So when you here "Applied is a fertile ground", take a moment to laugh at it internally, because soon you'll do it with your colleagues. Pay - Like I said, its slavery, so as you know, slaves don't get paid that much. Simple ! Longer life-cycle of products - You might work for years here and just have may be worked on one product all the time. A bummer when it comes to showing experience on your resume. Paperwork - Yeah you'll see a ton of these. And many will have pointless sign-off folks who have no clue what they are signing. It will seem like you are back in the 90s. Get ready to be bored !! Employee Retention - People leave every week. Depressing. The morale in departments is low. And management doesn't care about it. They think people leave because they are finding better jobs. NO ! They are leaving because they aren't motivated, they don't get direction, they aren't happy, their bosses are horrible, and list goes on.
