Pros
Good entry level surgical sales position. Opportunity to form relationships with surgeons that will payoff as you advance your career with other companies.
Cons
Company is engineering driven, meaning that sales personnel are looked upon as a necessary evil. They do not respect the sales force. They engineer a product without market research then expect the sales force to go out a create a market. You end up selling products that the surgeon has no need for. They hire a large number of sales personnel in a particular area then as they capture business they lay people off or cut their pay so that they drive them off. When that happens the competition comes back in and recaptures the business. They have no long term strategies.
