Pros

Clean environment to work in

Cons

Don't believe all these fake reviews. They pay lower than most people and employers in the industry. They give people low ball offers. This is the only company I ever worked for that forced you to sign a document saying in lieu of getting your bonus you agree that you haven't been discriminated against, forced to work overtime without pay, etc.. that's the jist of the wording on the form. They've got managers who aren't interested in your development and are willing to throw people under the bus to save themselves. Lots of people who pretend to befriend you but are trying to get you in trouble. There is definitely nepotism and favoritism. If you're not in don't even bother trying to stay. Try to stay away from this place as much as possible and find better opportunities elsewhere. Lots of dog an pony shows and wasteful spending for marketing and buying buildings left and right but they can't give you a 4% raise. They'll keep on milking you but don't expect to get compensated properly. Other places I've worked at had way better work time flexibility over here they grill you for 5 minutes after 8. Other departments were more flexible with this.

Pros

Lots of opportunities for growth and exposure to all varieties of the medical device lifecycle. Vertical integration is truly special for this and you will become a better engineer at this company. Overall positive culture, I have a friendly relationship with my management and I've enjoyed working with virtually all my peers.

Cons

Pay is lower than market average and you will need to put in more than what you'll get. There is also ambiguity on the metrics management assesses team member growth for promotions or pay increases. Work/life balance can get rough particularly in R&D depending on the project.
