Pros
Lots of potential opportunity, youth, and energy. The culture is positive and friendly. Great place to get some medical device experience if you want it. Medical benefits don't increase in cost year over year. There has never been a layoff (see below).
Cons
Immature leadership and support systems, and resistance to change is very common. Pay always starts low for the privilege of working for there, and will only start to rise after you prove your worth, which typically takes years. Longevity is a big challenge due to family politics. The 401 k plan selection and matching couldn’t be worse. There has never been a layoff because most team members are fired, unless they are lucky enough quit first.
