Pros
Office is in the middle of the city instead of being in the dreaded IT corridor. Good metro connectivity etc.
Cons
Where does one even start? This is worse than a government company - there is an insider coterie (CEO, CTO and their favorite kitchen cabinet) that takes every decision at their whims. The CEO keeps saying "change is only constant" to justify organizational changes made every 3 months. No proper logic is given for such changes, no review or retrospective of previous change. Folks in the US office can spend a million dollars without blinking an eye but even a pen purchased by someone from COE needs CEO approval. Tom, Richard and Harry from US travel to India (and stay at top-end hotels) for no business reasons except some flimsy meetings but if someone from India has to travel outside India, it needs approval from the CEO, the US Senate and the President of the US and the poor fellow has to stay at some airbnb. There are so much conflicts of interest in senior management. There is a GVP who has a direct report who is also her live-in partner and both of them always have nasty things to say about India employees. I happened to join a call and they hadn't realized i had joined where i heard them say clearly demeaning statements about India employees. But, no one dare touch such GVPs because well this is a govt company. The company spent thousands of person-hours developing something fancy called AppCentral that just doesn't work in real life. All the folks who worked on this App Central got big promotions but not a single customer is happy with App Central. No one within the company knows how to activate and provision various apps (Pay, Ship etc) within App Central although another big team spent thousands of hours working on something called flowable to automate that. That automation never worked after that team got big promotions. Overall, the company is only for those who somehow can get into good books of the CEO or CTO or their flunkies. The CEO has very low opinion about everyone else in the organization and doesn't hesitate making snarky comments about everyone else.
