Pros
-The work life balance and environment was good once upon a time. -The disastrous measures taken by the new management laid the foundation for many talented employees to start their own successful venture establishments. -The previous reputation of being a successful corporate even during recession period has proved to be a valuable experience for employees showing how to run a successful company. The current management have given a valuable lesson on how NOT to manage a company.
Cons
-No integrity or ethics. Policies keep changing with no base or explanation. The business projections keep changing like weather conditions of UK. -No direction for future or vision of any kind ( The parent equity partner is said to have success formulas and processes that work like magic and bring success to any company its applied. So far these processes have managed to damage everything. Be it employee commitment/morale, product development, client relationship management). -Too much firing. The criteria for firing is a mystery even for the manager of the employee. Possibly the only reason is to cut the cost by firing highly paid employees so that the balance sheet looks good. The reason for loss is poor management practises which has cost the company both revenue and clients. -No transparency. Most decisions do not justify the objectives or the people who proposed them don't know what they are trying to accomplish. No-one knows whom to approach for a clear state of the company. -All products future are in drain or sunset because of poor product development policies. Too many bugs are introduced due to ridiculous experimentation. For e.g some previously successful products have so many bugs that recreating them from scratch is better than trying to repairing them. -The only objective is reckless cost cutting. Most of the horrible cost cutting methods like replacing all staff with freshers(even senior positions) have had disastrous consequences on products and clients and in most cases led to losing more money than saved and some even resulting in irreversible damage. I believe the cost saving measures should be executed with progress in mind. Losing weight by cutting one's own limbs is pure stupidity :)
