Pros

Employee happiness is really a huge part of the culture here. Management genuinely has your back and they want to see you succeed. They give you all the tools and training most companies do not provide. Maybe the hardest part of the job is during the summer which is the busiest time of the year. It can be stressful and a lot of work at times but it is so rewarding. The Aptive standard is to go above and beyond with everything you do so if you do not like working long hours, call off work a lot, or are habitually late you probably will not like this. However, if you want to have a sense of self worth, work for a fast pace/fast growing company, and better your quality of life I would definitely recommend working for Aptive!

If you don't like to put in long hour weeks then this probably is not for you

Pros

Pay and overtime is great, management is decent, you run your own show- upsell, identify pest problems, know your chemicals, different methods, request inventory products

Cons

It's a lot of hours in summer. You will hate spiderwebs. I enjoy seeing many beautiful gardens and getting to know the local wasps, birds, and lizards- but it's not for everyone. Don't trust everything management says, and bring up issues early and with tact.
