Pros

Monday through friday 40 hour work week. The chaos makes the day go by fast.

Cons

Below average pay for the customer service field and the work environment was sub par. I don't see why the office of a pest control company would have roaches but it definitely did. Outdated office equipment. They pretty much bribe customers to write positive reviews for them. Lots of angry people calling all day due to aggressive sales tactics and/or not providing satisfactory service and you basically are expected to throw the fact that they failed to read the fine print in their face rather than provide decent customer service. They end up trapped with the service they aren't satisfied with because the cancellation fee is so outrageous. If one of your strengths is your patience and having people cuss you out is worth $10 or $11 an hour, then shoot them your resume!

Pros

Pay and overtime is great, management is decent, you run your own show- upsell, identify pest problems, know your chemicals, different methods, request inventory products

Cons

It's a lot of hours in summer. You will hate spiderwebs. I enjoy seeing many beautiful gardens and getting to know the local wasps, birds, and lizards- but it's not for everyone. Don't trust everything management says, and bring up issues early and with tact.
