Pros

Pay isnt too bad, hiring process was quick and easy, many branch managers are super nice!!

Cons

Company is willing to push you around in any job position or capacity they need. Does not listen well down the chain to any concerns of employees. Willing to do whatever they can to make the most money, no matter how it affects individuals or branches of the company. Many companies have unhappy customers OR unhappy employees, but somehow Aptive creates both. Claims they cultivate a good culture... and while soooome managers do... even they have to keep apologizing for all of the extremely inconsiderate decisions that people above them make, so it really feels like a lie. Not only that, but even the ones that claim to understand yet again apologize because there is nothing they can do whenever a concern is raised or an issue brought up. There is noone in the Aptive Team that understands Employee concerns AND has any power to fix them. Our culture is sooo bragged about TO us... but it does not exist. From talking to other employees, some that I know enjoyed getting hired and considered continuing are going to quit in the near future without even considering continuing. And only because of the way we have been treated.

Pros

Pay and overtime is great, management is decent, you run your own show- upsell, identify pest problems, know your chemicals, different methods, request inventory products

Cons

It's a lot of hours in summer. You will hate spiderwebs. I enjoy seeing many beautiful gardens and getting to know the local wasps, birds, and lizards- but it's not for everyone. Don't trust everything management says, and bring up issues early and with tact.
