Pros

Winter schedule was fairly flexible

So many to list: Area manager turnover is astounding Hours are long 12+ Just numbers driven Serving customers 2 months early Zero work life balance just work life Not able to hire in house support You are an overworked secretary You get write ups for ever little mistake or terminated. You are expected to be all things and everywhere with no immediate support staff. The darkest days of my life were at aptive. I was off my medicine for years and at Aptive I started taking multiple medications to try and keep my head above water. Multiple mental break downs which never happened to me before. Hate speech toward my employee was ignored and not seen as wrong. Sales teams get to walk all over operations. I hated every single day of my last year working for aptive.

Pros

Pay and overtime is great, management is decent, you run your own show- upsell, identify pest problems, know your chemicals, different methods, request inventory products

Cons

It's a lot of hours in summer. You will hate spiderwebs. I enjoy seeing many beautiful gardens and getting to know the local wasps, birds, and lizards- but it's not for everyone. Don't trust everything management says, and bring up issues early and with tact.
