Pros
It’s really great for learning sales quickly, their training is unmatched for sales it’s actually really good if you stick to it.
Cons
Very sexist culture, as a female I felt like I wasn’t wanted on my team I worked there for two years and my manager actually told my husband that he never wanted to hire a girl again, I was one of three girls he had hired, and worked harder then most of the boys on his team. The only reason was because I am a girl which is very unfortunate. Not only that but I was never recognized by the team for success I did have thought the summers and felt essentially ignored by the manager especially my second summer. The only females they celebrated or felt like where even worth mentioning where the ones in the top 4% of sales reps in the company. Ones who had made over 150k plus, even then some of them weren’t celebrated like how the guys where celebrated. Very disappointing culture and sexist. Another thing the average rep in a summer doesn’t make 20k most average reps end up making 10-15k. It does depend on your manager a lot but, it also is up to you I would say I was above average on my team and my best summer I made 17k but after rent and everything’s minused off it was closer to 15k that actually went in my pocket. So as a rookie you should never expect to make more then 20k because they are always over promising all their number are averages of what their above average reps are making they are only counting those that made over a certain amount in revenue. They aren’t counting those that finished the summer but only did 50k in revenue or those that finished and did only 70k which btw is still really good on most teams. They are only counting the people that finished at 100k and above cause at 100k you have the possibility of making 30k anything below that there is no way. My husband did 150k in revenue and with bonuses and things maybe made 45k. So really they are saying all these things but most are lies. Also beware if your are a rookie and you decide you can’t finish the summer most managers will take your back end and charge you for rent and will threaten to send you to debt collectors. Also average rookie did 43,000 in revenue in 2022 so about maybe 10k take home. Just be aware of that.
