Pros
Working remotely is just about the only pro I can think of, and even that is hardly a pro anymore. You aren’t allowed to talk to coworkers unless it’s something positive about work. Otherwise your supervisor says to only privately message them your questions and then they’ll take hours to get back to you, if they answer you at all.
Cons
This company lies. Lies to their employees unless you’re part of “senior management” or “leadership” and definitely lies to their customers. There’s no reason anyone should be paying more than $69-79 per standard treatment without add-ons for specialty pests. But we sell packages all the time for $130-230. And then we make changes to the plans so instead of coming out four times a year, suddenly we’re out 6-7 times a year. Aptive doesn’t care about their customers, why would they care about their employees? If you are not 100% perfect and stay positive about the drastic changes they make to your job description on a nearly weekly basis, then you’re in the hole with the majority of people. This year we got a 2% raise while they raised all of the customer prices hundreds of dollars and the money from that is going straight to senior management and leadership’s wallets instead of the workers actually doing the work. It’s a game to them, while it’s life to everyone else. If you want to work somewhere where you’re expected to be an emotionless robot-this IS the place for you. But if you’re a human being? Please, please look ANYWHERE else.
