Pros

Take it from me, someone who's been here a while. Things are fine, despite the negative reviews. Yeah, the pie might be shrinking, but that just means I've got more real estate (heh) to claim. To all those who just lost their jobs: you deserved this. Apto was too big. Now we're really moving towards what Goldilocks would call "just right." We have a ways to go to profitability, but we're continuing to reduce costs every week with all the follow-on quitters who weren't cool enough to get laid off like the rest of them. Good riddance. As we continue to fire bad customers, we don't need as many customer support reps anyway. Plus, our new engineering team in St. Petersburg is way better than the old one. They do what they're told, unlike the old divas who had the nerve to question the company strategy. You say insubordination, we say out-of-the-organization. That's just how things should be, because we're all adults here. Besides, constant fear and anxiety really shows who's up to the task.

Cons

It's like no one understands that these things are NORMAL in a startup. The constant fear and anxiety (which should be a force for good) seems to make everyone into a paranoid weirdo. At lunch, people are always gossiping about "who's going to quit next" when they should be framing it like "who do we need to eliminate next?" It's sad how many people are losing focus on this exciting journey to burn rate zero. Be grateful for this opportunity!

Pros

Apto hires really smart, skilled employees and gives them the autonomy to work on solving the challenges of a rapidly growing startup and grow a product that is leading the CRM space in Commercial Real Estate. A newly established Sr. Leadership team has a great deal of experience across many industries and startups which really brings a vote of confidence for the future of the company. We have a super conveniently located office in LoDo, really fun working environment and company planned activities that help take the heat off the sometimes stressful and fast-paced nature of an early-stage startup. Things are ever changing but each employee has an opportunity to impact and offer up suggestions for improvement. You must be flexible and open to change; it is also imperative that you are not afraid to voice your opinion or let us know of a better way to do things.

Cons

It's a venture backed startup so they are conscious of how they spend their money; it would be nice to have the perks of a larger company like parking or a gym reimbursement. They are fairly on top of the feedback of employees regarding these things, however, and I feel like they will start offering more perks in the near future.

Thank you for the nice words and suggestions. We, too, are very proud of our executive team! Ensuring competitive health and wellness benefits was our main focus this year. As we continue to grow, we look forward to growing our benefits package with additional perks. Thanks again for the feedback.
