Pros

Aquent has given me an opportunity to get my foot in the door in a new career role and work with a high profile client. The benefits are great for salaried employees and there seem to be opportunities for learning and development if you seek them out. Vacation time is ample, and they are extremely flexible about work schedule, as long as your client approves. The local office is very responsive to my questions and interested in what I am working on.

Cons

I have not had any negative experiences so far, but it is important to note that one's experience with Aquent is dependent on so many external forces: the clients they have on their roster, the economy, and the local office staff. Given the economy in it's current state, I think Aquent is kind of in survival mode, working on maintaining current relationships vs forging new relationships with potential clients. Truth be told, they don't have a robust listing of clients (in my location), so as the economy picks back up, that is something that they can improve on. As a result, there's really not a "bench" for those who are off assignment.

Pros

Some nice intelligent educated coworkers

Cons

Lack of transperancy, job placement wages stagnant for over 5 years with no raise, after finishing multiple contracts and bringing them thousands of dollars with my labor, no follow up on new positions. Finally contacted me about one position I would be perfect for then ghosted me. Blatant ageism using words like "junior" or "great position for recent grad". Had one horrific experience with them where they reached out to me to work on a team that loved me/loved my work - when I inquired if there was any flexibility in the pay, was suddenly told I wasn't qualified. Then I see the same listing reposted as "junior" and great for a recent grad.
