Company doesn't care about you nor will they care to help you improve - Business Development Aquent Employee Review

Pros

The starting salary is decent, and they give you a company Macbook for your use. Dental insurance was very affordable. The office I was in was very roomy and aesthetically pleasing.

Cons

If your regional manager doesn't see potential in you, they will not hesitate to let you go. There is no warning, no talk about improvement, and the true reasons will be swept under the rug. The company also has a habit of hyping up how "cool" and "unique" and "hip" they are, and team meetings are over-saturated with fake positivity, which in turn does not leave any room for constructive criticism and nobody knows where they are lacking. There are lots of office politics and the people who kiss up to upper management are the ones who get to stay, no matter how poorly they perform.

Pros

Some nice intelligent educated coworkers

Cons

Lack of transperancy, job placement wages stagnant for over 5 years with no raise, after finishing multiple contracts and bringing them thousands of dollars with my labor, no follow up on new positions. Finally contacted me about one position I would be perfect for then ghosted me. Blatant ageism using words like "junior" or "great position for recent grad". Had one horrific experience with them where they reached out to me to work on a team that loved me/loved my work - when I inquired if there was any flexibility in the pay, was suddenly told I wasn't qualified. Then I see the same listing reposted as "junior" and great for a recent grad.
