Pros
Since the only day I worked for this company was an orientation day, I'm not sure I can find a pro. I was excited by the idea of working in an event venue part-time--if you like live music, I suppose that is a pro!
Cons
I have not been paid yet for work I did over a month ago. I decided not to work the season because communication was poor; I was told I needed to complete the orientation 3 times after I had already done it. My repeated questions about on-site training were pushed off, even when I explained that I needed some notice so I could be sure to have the time available. I was given 2 day notice as to when my training would be. This job was sold to me by management as being a perfect second job, and they would be very accommodating as a result. This was not true. I was never able to receive my training and my last two emails regarding that and my unpaid hours have gone unanswered. I have decided that I cannot work for such a disorganized company. I've been in the hospitality business for 20 years and this is some of the worst management I have ever experienced.
