Pros

Free meals Good co-workers (sometimes) Aaaaannnd thaaaat’s about it

Cons

Management has no regard for the well-being of of their employees. They will not hesitate to over-work you, (short of pushing you into overtime which requires them to pay you more). They will stretch labor as thin as they can so being understaffed is life. If there is a conflict between an associate and supervisor, management will side with the superior every time. There are no guarantees about whether you will be trained. If a customer makes a good report about you, you won’t be told. But if one complains, you will be written up, no discussion about it. If you are being written up, they won’t worry about informing you beforehand. Complaints will fall on deaf ears. Loyalty to the enterprise above all else. Unless you’re high up in the pyramid or have good connections, you will just be another peasant to be exploited. And customer service is the minimum-wage crap show that it always is.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
