Pros
The daily opportunities of interacting with thousands of students and faculty can give you “instant gratification” all the while it is a platform to exercise all facets of human behavior.
Cons
The environment in which you work is only as good and fair as “upper management”. There is a whole lot of diverse harassment going on, i.e. blank walls for those that deserve to be promoted, unfair/unequal pay, pay scale as a whole lower than hospitality standards across the board, a gamut of non-positive treatment of team-players, and retention of management not conducive to a good climate within the organization.
