Pros

Co-workers are hard working and enthusiastic - Aramark hires well and then does not take care of people once they are there, so people quit in droves.

Cons

Staff was worked to the point of exhaustion; Upper management had no work-life balance so it was hard to say no to requests to work work work; The temptation to get time and a half to work more hours made it hard for employees to say no, especially when managers and directors worked 12+ hour days. Staff was prone to burn-out and serious stress-related health conditions; Company website touting awards, especially 'Most Ethical Companies' award were not consistent with the culture set by upper management at the site I worked.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
