Pros

-Great benefits, for those who qualify -Tries to promote from within first -low cost of living -some managers were EXCELLENT, some of the very best people I've known -hires from all over the country and world, providing a chance to experience other cultures

Cons

-didn't always follow through with perks and promises -little to no training -wages only at or below industry standard, making it hard to live on -felt like the bottom line is more important than employees or even guests -yearly increases were capped at a low percent, regardless of performance -most local leadership were poor managers and some were downright terrible -poor communication and lack of transparency -no job security -typical corporate mentality of "do more with less" got to insane proportions over the ten plus years I was there - not sustainable

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
