Aramark is a very shady company. What they say in public is not what they do in private. - Anonymous employee Aramark Employee Review

Pros

About the only pros is the salary and bonuses..we have weekends and holidays off.

Cons

There is no work life balance and believe me when i say the only person at Aramark that cares about you is you. They talk a good game when it comes to safety yet getting a safety hazard taken care of takes an act of congress. Many of the trucks are not safe to drive. If a true DOT inspection was ever really done there are several trucks in our market center that would not pass. They are constantly breaking down due to aramarks unwillingness to replace old worn out trucks. Even getting carts repaired that have broken metal and metal sticking out to the point that it could puncture someones leg is impossible. After someone in the company is severely injured we have a national stand down call. A little late for that dont you think. General managers dont want the expense of repairing or replacing things. Their only concern is hitting plan and making bonus. Too bad it's done at the expense of the rsr's health and safety. All we are evwr told is to hold the rsr's accountable. Who is going to step up and hold the company accountable for the safety of their employees.

Pros

Schedule is set, with the exception of needing to help work larger events. There are deadlines, but a lot of the job is independent and requires you to be able to be extremely organized and self-sufficient.

Cons

Some procedures are outdated. The amount of printing that is done for things people have computer access to is wild.

Pros

Working as a Lead Barista has been a rewarding experience that has helped me grow both professionally and personally. The role has strengthened my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills while allowing me to mentor and support team members. I enjoy creating positive customer experiences, managing daily operations, and ensuring high standards of quality and service. The fast-paced environment has taught me how to multitask effectively, stay organized, and work under pressure. This position has also provided valuable experience in training staff, inventory management, and team collaboration. Overall, being a Lead Barista has been an excellent opportunity to develop skills that are transferable to leadership and project management roles.

Cons

While being a Lead Barista has provided valuable leadership and customer service experience, the role can be challenging at times. The fast-paced environment often requires managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, including customer service, beverage preparation, inventory management, and team support. Staffing shortages and high customer volume can create stressful situations, especially during peak hours. The position also requires long periods of standing, frequent lifting, and maintaining energy throughout the shift. Additionally, balancing leadership responsibilities with daily operational tasks can be demanding, particularly when addressing customer concerns or training new employees while meeting service expectations
