Pros
Very large company with many opportunities throughout the US and the world. There is also a good sense of work/life balance with opportunities to work remotely.
Cons
The company is going through a lot of change right now; which means a lot of restructuring and lay-offs. The culture is very cutthroat and everybody is only out for themselves. Furthermore, there is no objective process for promotions and development leading to a lot of nepotism and favoritism throughout the organization. Additionally, communication is a big weakness at Aramark; the company does not communicate openly and honestly to its employees. For a company claiming to be in the "people business" they often treat employees as a necessary evil instead of a true asset to the business.
