Pros

If you enjoy pushing your body to its absolute limit, dealing with toxic management, and being rewarded with long-term injuries and harassment, then being a lead receiver at Aramark might just be the perfect job for you.

Cons

Working as a lead receiver for Aramark not only poses significant physical risks, but it can also expose you to serious hazards that may not be properly documented. I sustained a chemical burn from a substance not listed in the MSDS log, resulting in a hole the size of two half dollars in my foot. Despite the severity, I was told not to seek medical help, and when I did, my doctor had to cut out both damaged and healthy tissue. After returning to work, management set impossible deadlines, took away my support, and worsened my injury out of retaliation for filing a workers' comp claim. The harassment only intensified, leading to derogatory comments and unbearable pressure. Ultimately, I had to leave the job. Be aware of these risks and consider the potential for both physical and emotional harm before taking on this role.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
