Pros

- Established enterprise business strategy focused on company growth - Strong DEI focus - Health Benefits - LTI - Free lunch when working in-office at HQ

Cons

- If you are a mid-career professional, unless you're a long-tenured (20+ years) or boomerang employee- people leaders will become threatened by your outside perspective. - Bonuses are not awarded to corporate functional employees below the director level. - For corporate function employees who are eligible for bonuses, bonuses are solely based on company performance. There is no differentiation meaning a high performer and underperforming peers on the same team are awarded the same bonus amount. - In my experience, none of the senior leaders (Director level & above) that I've worked under have ever helped me establish goals, provided appropriate direction, or gave me any feedback even when I've asked. It's important to be comfortable with this. - There are few opportunities to grow beyond the manager level. Open Director and above roles are usually filled by boomerangs or external hires. When boomerangs return, it is at a level higher than when they left the company.

Pros

Travel opportunities. Former corporate management was extremely supportive and good to work with. Free food. Free drama.

Cons

Work life balance. Don’t be a mother to young children if you want to work here. Verbal communication vs. what you get in an email will be contradictory….the gaslighting was unbelievable. Digital metric systems put in place by new corporate management has taken all the creativity and actual management out of the job. Will be mad at you if you don’t make the numbers they want to see, but will provide zero guidance on how best to do so. Hours were extremely long in order to complete all job responsibilities. New upper management is inflexible to specific account needs. Each account is different. HR does not help you - they protect the company. If you need to terminate an employee - they make it impossible.
