Main pros include: - Down to earth coworkers who are always willing to help out one another - You get hands on experience in all phases of a client's oracle lifecycle. Most consultants get project opportunities in net new implementations, existing client optimizations / enhancements, as well as post-live production support. - You are not pigeon hold into a single area. ArcLight is big on cross training. If you are someone who likes learning new subject matter, and can learn quickly, mgmt is supportive of finding projects you are interested in. Compared to previous employers / competitors, I've found there to be more opportunities / resume builders at ArcLight. It keeps things engaging!
Cons
Like any consulting firm, you may need to step out of your comfort zone to pioneer a new module or feature. You will always have the support of the team, but if you like doing the same type of projects and like answers to be handed to you, this may be a difficult environment.
