      Pros

      The science is exciting, and the company has done a great job hiring talented people into every role. People take the culture seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously. Leadership is committed to teamwork, equity and diversity. Ego-centric individuals do not last long.

      Cons

      With two locations (CA and MD) and a rapid pace, it's sometimes hard to know what colleagues are up to. Communication is improving, however.

      Pros

      Not only amazing science, but also really special people. The culture is very people-centric, inclusive, and light-hearted.

      Cons

      A bit of turmoil since being acquired by Gilead, but the alumni of Arcellx will all go on to do more great things, I have no doubt.
