ArcelorMittal Response
8yArcelorMittal is an equal opportunity employer and has a zero tolerance policy for workplace discrimination and harassment based on sex, or any other protected classification. The Company also strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who, among other things, reports workplace harassment. All employment related decisions, including the decision to terminate an employee, are made based on legitimate business reasons.
Under the Company’s policy, an employee who believes they have been the victim of, or a witness to, a situation involving harassment or discrimination or conduct inconsistent with Company policy, should immediately report that situation to their supervisor, human resources representative, the legal department or the workplace compliance hotline. If a former employee has a concern, they may also use one of these reporting options to raise their concern. Education and awareness are paramount in our fight against harassment, and ArcelorMittal USA has a robust mandatory training program in place.
