Pros
They have a profit sharing plan, and are very progressive company. Their Christmas party and July 1st Canada Day fireworks celebration is one of the best if not the best in Canada. The company is naturally attritioning because they have over 1000 employees with over 30 years service.
Cons
Their base salary is average, they have a variable compensation salary that works well when the company meets or exceeds targets in Health and Safety, Value Plan, EBITDA and customer service. What is hurting the company in the near term is beyond their control, that is the tariffs from the US. Also the steel industry is cyclical. If you can get through the next 5 years, they may be difficult. I rated it three stars only because of the tariffs. If they weren't there, I would rate it at least a 4 star
