Pros

Small company so easy to get to know employees at different branch locations.

Cons

Toxic environment where their “house” is built on sand. Examples: 1. Ownership says they are a “faith-based” company, but in my experience, this is nothing but words. 2. Their unprofessionalism is not the result of being a startup but rather just a lack of respect and/or love for their employees. They don’t see value in their employees; they treat them as such. 3. They underpay their people, don’t give them the tools or resources needed to be successful and complain revenue is down. 4. Sales Management is terrible. They know nothing and provide little to no guidance. One of the owners appears to be checked out so every branch / location does it their own way. One of the TX managers is emotionally unstable and loses her temper often. She verbally assaults people, and ownership appears to turn a blind eye. Lawsuit waiting to happen! 5. There is no training. They will send you to Tulsa (HQ), and you will “hang out” for a couple of days, and that’s onboarding / training. 6. Leadership creates sales targets and activity metrics with no strategy or thought. They move the targets and say they just want to “push people”, and it’s a *goal* not a requirement, but then the next minute, they are acting like those targets are an expectation. - they are all over the place! 7. The company appears to be hurting financially because they are laying off people constantly with no notice and not paying commissions owed to those employees when they are terminated. Not paying commissions owed is not only wrong but proves my theory they are financially in serious trouble. 8. Some of leadership has loose lips regarding HR-related items, including telling employees why someone is no longer with the company and/or their personal thoughts/opinions on t employees who report to them. No one should hear their manager gossiping about their own employees. 9. Leadership has a saying “sell what’s on the lot” when referencing a candidate they want you to present/sell to the Client (company) that is not what the company asked for. The client/company may have given you 3 “must have’s” but they want you to introduce a candidate that is not a good fit and doesn’t have the “must have’s” the client/company requires. This saying (“sell what’s on the lot”) seems to be a way to not do our job as a boutique firm but rather to try to force the client to accept someone they don’t want. — this is a waste of time (and disrespectful) to both the candidate and the client/company. Not how a boutique firm should do business. 10. No diversity! All around, truly an unprofessional organization, and it’s surprising they are still in business.. I missed the signs coming into the organization. I made the assumption the issues I saw were the result of “growing pains” for a young company and a start up. However, I was terribly mistaken, and I don’t want anyone else to have to experience this.

Cons

This company was extremely disappointing and ultimately one of the most toxic work environments ever encountered. While the organization presents itself as values-driven and people-focused, the reality was very different. Leadership lacked consistency, structure, and accountability. Expectations changed frequently, goals were often unrealistic, and instead of providing coaching or support, management relied heavily on micromanagement and criticism. The leadership talked horribly about their team behind closed doors and created an environment of dog eat dog. A high-stress environment where morale was consistently low, and turnover is extremely high. There was very little meaningful training or onboarding. Employees were expected to perform immediately without the tools, guidance, or leadership support needed to succeed. When results didn’t meet constantly shifting expectations, the response from leadership often felt more punitive than constructive. Often making up a reason to "terminate or coach out" instead of building a culture of coaching and stability. Most concerning was how workplace concerns were handled. Raising issues about the work environment led to what felt like bullying behavior and ultimately retaliation rather than a genuine attempt to address the problems. Over time, it became clear that the culture allowed toxic and unprofessional behavior to continue without accountability. Many talented employees eventually leave because the instability, micromanagement, and leadership behavior make it very difficult to build a sustainable career there. However the company gains the value of that employees efforts Anyone considering working here should take the time to carefully read the reviews and evaluate whether this environment aligns with their expectations for professionalism, leadership, and respect in the workplace.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. While we do not comment on individual employment situations, we recognize that some feedback may reflect experiences from a different point in time and may not represent the organization as it exists today. In some cases, we see recurring themes that appear to reflect outdated perspectives rather than the current environment that we have worked intentionally to build. We are committed to building a culture grounded in accountability, respect, and strong relationships. That commitment is reflected in our current leadership team, which includes strong female representation, as well as in the standards we hold for professionalism and performance across the organization. While we recognize that not every experience will be the same, the broad characterization outlined here does not reflect the environment we work intentionally to create or the experience of the broader team. That said, we are always willing to evaluate how we communicate, support, and develop our employees. We continue to invest in leadership development, onboarding, and clear expectations so individuals are set up for success and treated with consistency and respect. We remain focused on building a stable, professional environment where people can grow and succeed long term. We wish you the best moving forward.
