Pros

There is nothing good about this company.

Cons

Archon is a mom and pop recruiting shop that has a former Tek Systems rep with questionable ethics at the helm. Ask anyone in Tulsa that has been here and they will tell you. They masquerade as a faith based family company. Laughable. Micromanagement. Zero training. Unrealistic expectations. Delusional. This place is a sinking ship and won’t be around in 5 years.

We take allegations regarding ethics and workplace conduct very seriously. The statements made in this review are false and do not reflect the standards or culture of Archon Resources. This review also includes personal attacks and claims about individuals that are unrelated to the reviewer’s employment experience, which we believe are inappropriate for a workplace review forum. Archon is committed to operating with integrity and maintaining a professional, respectful workplace for our employees, candidates, and clients. Any behavior inconsistent with those expectations would be addressed immediately. Our leadership team today is predominantly female, and performance and recognition within the company are based on results and professionalism. We remain focused on creating an environment where our team members are treated with respect and have the opportunity to succeed. — Ann Lowry Vice President of Operations

Cons

This company was extremely disappointing and ultimately one of the most toxic work environments ever encountered. While the organization presents itself as values-driven and people-focused, the reality was very different. Leadership lacked consistency, structure, and accountability. Expectations changed frequently, goals were often unrealistic, and instead of providing coaching or support, management relied heavily on micromanagement and criticism. The leadership talked horribly about their team behind closed doors and created an environment of dog eat dog. A high-stress environment where morale was consistently low, and turnover is extremely high. There was very little meaningful training or onboarding. Employees were expected to perform immediately without the tools, guidance, or leadership support needed to succeed. When results didn’t meet constantly shifting expectations, the response from leadership often felt more punitive than constructive. Often making up a reason to "terminate or coach out" instead of building a culture of coaching and stability. Most concerning was how workplace concerns were handled. Raising issues about the work environment led to what felt like bullying behavior and ultimately retaliation rather than a genuine attempt to address the problems. Over time, it became clear that the culture allowed toxic and unprofessional behavior to continue without accountability. Many talented employees eventually leave because the instability, micromanagement, and leadership behavior make it very difficult to build a sustainable career there. However the company gains the value of that employees efforts Anyone considering working here should take the time to carefully read the reviews and evaluate whether this environment aligns with their expectations for professionalism, leadership, and respect in the workplace.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. While we do not comment on individual employment situations, we recognize that some feedback may reflect experiences from a different point in time and may not represent the organization as it exists today. In some cases, we see recurring themes that appear to reflect outdated perspectives rather than the current environment that we have worked intentionally to build. We are committed to building a culture grounded in accountability, respect, and strong relationships. That commitment is reflected in our current leadership team, which includes strong female representation, as well as in the standards we hold for professionalism and performance across the organization. While we recognize that not every experience will be the same, the broad characterization outlined here does not reflect the environment we work intentionally to create or the experience of the broader team. That said, we are always willing to evaluate how we communicate, support, and develop our employees. We continue to invest in leadership development, onboarding, and clear expectations so individuals are set up for success and treated with consistency and respect. We remain focused on building a stable, professional environment where people can grow and succeed long term. We wish you the best moving forward.
