      Pros

      The people at Arconic were super helpful and welcoming. It was a great first job. I learned a lot of instrumentation and had wonderful mentors.

      Cons

      Although Arconic was spun-off from Alcoa, it did not get the same recognition. I suppose it's difficult to make a name as reputable as the former.

      Aluminum manufacturing provides exciting and challenging opportunities to test and reward engineers for all disciplines. You will never stop learning; life will never be mundane.

      Cons

      Unexpected equipment failures will happen at the worst possible time, Time and effort is required to recover back to full production.
