Pros
Pay, hybrid schedule. Used to be a tolarable place to work before new management
Cons
The first few years were good.. even tho it was a very cliquey environment.. upper management had their favorites and being new you were often left out. You can hear a feather drop in the office, no one communicated unless you were in the clique. However, I didn’t mind the work and pay was good. Then they completely changed management and went to worst management. I was there for about 5 years and none of that mattered, the new manager didn’t like me for some reason. She only knew my name bc she saw it on an email. She never sat with us to see what we did day to day, didn’t even say “Hello” in the mornings to her team. Only time she would say anything is when she has negative feedback to provide to anyone. There was a time I had to rush my daughter to the emergency room and she literially sent me a nasty email chewing me out because I accidentally left something out on my “Out of office notice” I was rushing to get my daughter to the ER when I did it, it was an accident and I fixed it while at the ER immediately! (Many other circumstance like this I experienced personally and my co workers) She is the absolute worst boss I ever worked for and since we are a satellite office-all the higher ups are at other locations didn’t see nor did they care. Her boss was too lazy to barley even come out of his office. I experienced 2 horrible deaths, and went into a depression, my work was aware. I was late sometimes when had to be physically in the office, HOWEVER, my work NEVER suffered I still got everything completed, I NEVR harldy took a lunch, always worked through them, made up my time, we were salary (other people in office as well had more flexibility but if you weren’t in the group you were treated differently) Also when I worked from home I would most days start 2 hours earlier because my email would start popping off and I would get on to help customers right away and work late hours majority of the time, so me being late a couple of times I more than made up with all the OT I worked and working through my lunches (which they knew I did) I was let go ONLY because of how my boss felt personally towards me, it was not professional AT ALL! I know I did a good job and was on top of my accounts-I even have references from those account and many people that worked at Ardagh. Also, I was never written up and they could not produce any paperwork or anything showing I made mistakes etc. They need to care more about their employees. I can tell you 100% non of the Account Coordinates are happy there but they need a job so they stay. Throughout all the negative, I would have retired there if it wasn’t for new management and I still would have been there if it wasn’t for her. She ruined my career, my stability, my family, and my life because of her personal issue not professional!
