The residents, the pay, no others

Cons

Management (or lack there of) was not great- no DON. 56 patients to 1 nurse on shift. 4 “caregivers” (no cna’s. These are regular people who come off the street. No cpr training. Soooo you’ll be the only cpr certified in the building to 56 patients). All paper charting. There was no support. If you like working alone and having 56 residents at once with 8 hours to pass meds, chart, write incident reports (bc there was a fall once a day If not more) this job is for you. Nurses (well, nurse no names) training you act as if you’re stupid for asking questions. Do not recommend for new nurses!!!!

Working at Arden Courts of Lely Palms has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The staff here are truly compassionate and genuinely care about the residents and their well-being. Team members work together to create a supportive, positive environment where residents are treated with dignity, patience, and respect every day. One of the greatest strengths of this community is the programming offered to residents. Activities are thoughtfully designed to keep residents engaged at all levels of cognitive development, helping them remain active, social, and connected. The team goes above and beyond to create meaningful moments and make life enjoyable for each resident. The atmosphere is welcoming, teamwork is valued, and there is a strong sense of purpose in the care provided. It is a wonderful place to work for anyone who is passionate about memory care and making a difference in the lives of others

Cons

At this time, I do not have any significant concerns regarding the company. The team is supportive, leadership is approachable, and there is a strong commitment to both staff and resident care. Overall, it has been a positive and rewarding work environment.
