Pros
I absolutely love working here. I started out as part time front desk, and now I am Full-Time Administrative Services Assistant. "Assistant TO the Administrative Services Coordinator". I am free to be myself, and a sense of humor is highly valued here. I build relationships with the families who have their loved one's here. It's Memory Care so it can get difficult at times. I am here to provide support and kindness when its needed most, as well as take care of the clerical stuff, assist the managers, nurses, and the family members. I am the face you see when you first come in, and the voice on the phone. The staff here is absolutely amazing. Everyone from the department heads, to housekeeping, the amazing kitchen staff, all the way to the caregivers and nurses. I know that of course a manager would get on here and say all of these things, but I am not that. I am merely just the goofy ASA up front. I could not imagine myself anywhere else.
Cons
I did not win the Dundee Award for best shoes. I did come in a close second. Seriously though nothing negative that I would say about working here. Even on it's very few difficult days, it is still rewarding to be apart of this team.
