1. Poor communication and contradictory answers from management and HR
2. Poor decision-making from senior management
3. Seem to care more about protecting the company and its profits than they do about their employees
4. Providers are "pay-per-production" meaning they get paid based on how many patients they see, and are considered different than salaried employees. Even though I was a full-time employee, I received much fewer days off and holidays than those workers in the office. This was not told to me before I started, and I was actually erroneously sent the salaried employee benefits before I signed my contract.
I overlooked a lot of red flags because of the high salary and good hours, and it came back to bite me. I would highly discourage optometrists from considering Aria Care Partners.
