Sadly a good company that forgot its core - Anonymous employee Ariel Corporation Employee Review

This company runs like a cult, you must bleed Ariel blue to fit in and in Mount Vernon they will look sour at even the slightest insult to the company. The pay is below standard for most positions (I left for roughly 20 percent raise), there is no growth, especially if you're at a branch location. HR runs this corp and they do it with little competency, I got a default letter asking me to consider returning to the company but it had nothing about what would be different. This is the same letter they have sent all my coworkers that also left. Lets speak on the people leaving, which is a lot of people. We were given exit interviews and I know nothing was noted or changed, that's the core issue of this company. They think they are perfect and due to that will never adapt. Now for the work, its insanely easy. If you are even the slightest go getter, hard worker, or innovator stay away. You CANNOT grow or push for change here. If you present a good idea you must get buy in from one specific person in each dept or it will never pass. And most of those people don't have the slightest clue what they're doing so good luck. If you're a fresh college grad and want a quick bounce job to get experience this could be good. You'll learn about foundries, machining, a great Quality Management System. Ariel treats hourly shop floor employees and salaried degree holding employees the same, which is usually fine until you leave this job and get one that doesn't make you look at a PTO bank to see if you can take an hour off for the dentist and still have enough for your vacation. Or if you have a day full of meetings you will still have to come in despite living in the internet age where we have zoom/teams. Pays bad, works boring, cult attitude.
