Pros
Benefits and vacation day 1 are a plus, overtime opportunities, 10 paid holidays, some employees there for over 40 years.
Cons
Oh boy, there's a lot. First of all there is no real training, at least in my area of the plant. Team leaders will throw new employees on a press with a set-up tech for training while knowing that the tech will have to leave several times during the day. I had better training at Burger King, both job and safety related. If you get hurt on the job, they yell at you for "not being safe" even though they won't teach you proper procedures. HR is a laughing stock, team leaders are more worried about baseball scores rather than the job at hand, there's never any profit sharing checks that they promise you and; they'll have you working directly below roofers, plumbers, and electricians. Overall, no one cares about you. You just make snowblowers.
