Pros
The kind of place you want to come into work to every day. Everyone you work with is great and the tech you work with is modern. The office is in the Merchandise Mart, so the location is good for commuters from all directions (and for lunch and happy hours!). Free breakfast every day, free (non-alcoholic) drinks and snacks throughout the day, ping pong, pool, video games. Frequent lunch and learns, which usually come with free lunch as well and the occasional meetup hosted after work. Overall a pretty relaxed atmosphere you wouldn’t expect from a company tied to such a large enterprise like Allstate.
Cons
Not a lot here, but the reason it’s a 4 and not a 5 is that the company has grown very quickly and it seems to have caused a lack of focus across the company, or maybe a focus on too many things at once, which is essentially the same thing.
